General Winscreen washers fixed

Just finished fixing the winscreen washers. After removing the wheel arch lining, and most of my knuckle, the 2 pipes leading in to the tank were frayed and unconnected. The connecting pipe that runs along the front of the engine bay had also frayed, so sorted this, and all seems well. The rear winscreen washer still not working, but i don't really care, as its not an MOT failure

I'd like to rig up one of those 'illegial' neon washers in red, but can't find one that sprays 3 different ways. Anyone seen one about?

Check the non-return valve on the rear washer pipe - mine's mounted under the bonnet catch, a little round black thing with a triangle on it.

Checked it and...dodgy. Took it off, opened it up, had a scrape around with a knife and put it back. Now the rear winscreen washers working too!

Also just replaced a few bulbs, so my huge list of failures is *slowly* reducing. I'll get all the easy work done myself, and leave the welding to the pros
