Technical Windscreen wipers

Good morning, could someone please help...my wipers have stopped working on intermittent. By selecting intermittent they work constantly and when lifting the wiper arm to just wipe the screen once it stops mid way across the screen ( i hope that makes sense lol) could this just be a relay or fuse??? thanks in advance

Have you attempted to wipe snow or move the wipers when they where frozen to the screen?

I had it before, wipers only worked on really fast and only park halfway up the screen.

Sounds like your motor is damaged. Either get a second hand working one off ebay for around 20 pound or go scrapyard but no guarantees with scrapyard. They are same wiper motors accross all Brava, Bravo and Marea's.

Unless you know anyone who can look at it and possible repair it. When i opened my motor up the grease had leaked all over the electrics.

That sounds like the same problem I suffered, water got into your motor somehow. A good secondhand one will solve that

Another thing that might not help is the indicator stalk, I used to run 100w xenons off the switch relayed and it still burned it out. Check the stalk as this may be playing up too

Hiya, thanks for your replies. I haven't tried to wipe snow / ice etc., of the screen but to be honest i've spoken to the guys that carry out my MOT and they can get a recon motor quite cheap so i'm going to have that done...saves a lot of messing about.
