Technical Windscreen wipers - maybe a conversion

Hi guys,

I have had the dreaded issue off my wiper linkage becoming stuffed! Only drivers side is working now...

I was thinking, if im going to spend £30 on a linkage kit to sort it, why not just do a single wiper conversion? For £30 im sure it can be done with some change for a nice new wiper too.

Has anyone done it?
I have done a search but been on the mobile doesnt show anything for the stilo... Any advice welcome guys - hoping to get it fixed or converted before the drivers side packs in!

I had this happen on my second Stilo. Typically when I was driving down the motorway in torrential rain.

How I never crashed I'll never know, managed to get to a services and The AA managed to bodge a fix using some clip from another car that had nothing to do with wiper parts!

Quite a common problem they attend to apparently and they keep these clips in the vans especially to fix it until you can get it sorted.

I never did get round to fixing it, although my wipers parked higher than they should have they worked without fault!
