General Windscreen surprise

I had to get my windscreen replaced due to a few stone chips that couldn't be repaired.

The surprise was that due to the screen costing less the £250 I had no excess to pay! Autoglass even refitted my alloy tax disk holder with new pads!

(for interest a new windscreen is less than £150 for once something cheap on a Fiat and it was in stock!)

That's worth knowing, I suppose I should check that I have windscreen cover on my insurance. I don't suppose it's covered on the warranty, although I still haven't transferred that to my name either. Fortunately no stone chips yet, though.
