General Window wont close!!

Hi guys, my window was icey this morning, i put it all the way down so that my windscreen didnt mist up, now my window wont close again!?

What can i do? the switch can be heard to work when pressing down (as in to open) but not heard for closing it, swapped switches, poured warm/hot water around the rubber bits of window...

Help!!

Cant go to work as a load of pikeys always walk past, and might see this as a free opportunity for a HU! lol

I know it sounds stupid, but did you let the car warm up? You didnt panic etc and fear the worse when it was something as simple as that. How long did you wait before winding the windows down. You put anti freeze on them???

Done it now, cheers mate for the reply, i had to remove door card, let it warm up a bit, then pushed up whilst pushing up on the switch, still sticks at the bottom though, closed it, went down to shops for WD40, opened it fully again, and again was stuck! another 15 mins wait...

1 hour late for work!

Now my window goes up and down like a treat after greasing the rod! used to go really slowly! just got to remember not to put it right down....
