Styling Window Tints

Hello!!

Would like my back three windows tinted. Anyone had this done professionally or done it themselves? Looking for recommendations for a place that can do them, or somewhere I can order em' from!

Yeah get all but windscreen tinted if your gonna get any tinted, otherwise it looks like a van

yeh i got my 5 door punto done there too m8. med at front and midnight a back. mine would have been £260 but got it done for £220.

do it yourself, ya can buy the tint in loads of places, halfords sell it. also it very cheap on ebay.,.,.it takes a while to do and you'd wanna make sure your in a clean environment as dust particles can ruin the tint.,.,
throw loads of water on the ground and this will keep the dust down, also make sure the tint doesnt get folded as you cant remove the creases from it.,.,,

if you diy tint buy expensive film recently made mistake of buying cheep film for the punto it was very thin and horrible to work with, it'll be coming off soon

why?

this cost £10 and an hour or so of my time-

sure it wasnt perfect, but i did it in strong sunlight on a very hot day, that was why, it was still very good

coz u prob got air bubbles if u look close and it wont last long. and also i dont get why u missed out the front 2 windows

no, it was perfect, no bubbles.

cos that would be illegal.

thats the whole idea, the thinner the tint the easier it is to make it streatch and bond to the curves of the glass.,.,

And "RICKEY" just because it didnt work out for you doesnt mean others wont be able to do it, its not that hard really, it just needs a little patience and a hairdrier or heatgun to soften the film to ajust to the contours of the glass, and punto glass is pretty flat anyway., i tinted an opel tigra once and that had a huge bubbley back window,.,

BEAU: your tint looks fine to me i cant see any reason why it'll "fall off" and i cant see any bubbles either.,.,nice job!!

well i didnt even try it lol. i just know people who have and it either looks shiit, if it looks gud then it wont 6 months down the line

i tinted my bedroom windows about a year ago, it looks like the day i fitted it still

if your patient, it should be ok, most people rush it, and ruin it.
