will i get a new license sent out?

hey all,

lost my card license last year, on the 27th of last month my 33bhp motorcycle restriction came off my license since it's been 2 year since i done the test, my old card had on that i had my bike test but also that i was restricted, i got a new card when i passed my bike test so will i get another one now i'm able to ride a full power bike?

i ask as i'm going to canada the end of the month and will be hiring a car and obviously don't want to pay for a new license if there's one on it's way.

is it not the case you need to apply for restrictions,points etc to be removed by sending the licence in?

possibly, my old licensee has 3 points and that restriction it, now point free and unrestricted i'm fine to pay for it if i know for sure there isn't another on it's way

so you probably get why it was easier to ask on here than deal with them on the phone

Does a GB licence cover you for Canada ? You might need an International Driving Permit.

You only need a Driving permit if you are staying for a long time and want to avoid taking a Canadian driving test.

looks like i'll have to get another license sent out, hopefully i can send another picture so it's valid for another 10 years as my pic is already 5 years old
