yes with lots of work, but as said on top gear tonight why have all that power if the chasiy(sp) wont put it on the road?
They never sold the Punto in America.
Maybe he means a Pinto?

It should fit with some butchering . i have a friend with an Integra type R engine on a Mini (old one) and even though it's fast it produces way too much wheel spin to be any competitive on the track (or the street )

Anything will fit into anything with enough time and money thrown at it.
speaking of which i once heard a muttering about an uno doing the rounds with a supercar engine welded into the back...anyone?

a good few years back before i lived here someone got a ferrari engine in a classic mini then got caught speeding at over 200mph!... in a 40 zone i beleive lol
