Technical Widest wheels/tyres on seicento?

X reg SX is the vehi in question.
Seen some nice wheels on eBay, tyres are 195 so assuming 7.5j wheels. Could stretch tyres at 185 if they were the only problem?
Only thing in worried about is main sus swing arm on rear

195/45/14s are pretty common on Centos with 6J. Given a sensible ET, they fit. Anything larger will create issues.

Assume absolutely nothing. You need:

the wheel width and diameter

the ET

the PCD

the counter bore.

The scrote selling them will be able to find all that stamped or cast on the wheel.

Assume nothing, nada, nish. Get the info from the seller, get back.

If your car is lowered then obviously clearance is less

I have 185/50/14 on a 5.5j wheel with et35. The car is lowered and the tyres scrub on heavy compression.

On an 899 you'll probably need 35 profile to maintain something approaching the stock gearing.

15s are really only sane on 1.4 16v and turbo cars. On an 899 they're likely to be just a PITA.

That's a good point. The gearing change when I swapped from 165/55/13 is noticeable and that's with a very slightly tuned 1242 engine. With an 899 you're going to really notice any change.

899, stick to 13s - plenty of cool looking 13" wheels kicking about
