Do someone know if the gearbox of the 147 1.6 , 156 1.8 or barchetta 1.8 will fit on the punto hgt? Or is it only possible to put the internal part in the housing of the punto hgt.
In my opinion, the internal part of different alfa engines descended from the 1.8 is pretty much the same. Only the housing is different in some cases. For example, I believe the hgt gearbox is slightly smaller.
The reason for asking is because the alfa gearboxes are way cheaper than the hgt boxes and easier to find.
And is the c510.5 of a 500 abarth an option?
Because my workbook of my hgt said that the gearbox type is also a c510.5
