Have you ever driven one?
Took a 1.0 16v along my favourite back road.
ok on the straight, makes a respectable noise when thrashed.
Never been quite so unnerved by a car's reaction to bumps and corners at speed though. Truly worrying after driving a cento.

Maybe that's it then - they're scared in case they have to change direction!

Hi,

We rented a 1.0 automatic once, all that happened when you pressed the accelerator was that it made more noise, in fact a lot more noise !!!. I have experienced more acceleration running for the bus.

Lol @ Dave . I've never driven one but I agree they are ugly beasts and always seem to be in my way and not knowing which lane they are meant to be in gggrrrrrrrr.
