Technical Why is my sei cutting power

Basically i changed my clutch and gearbox and since everytime the ecu cuts power when i wheelspin ( and today it even did it when i pushed into a corner and the inside wheel span)

The Injector Light illuminates but the car resumes normally once traction is resumed

will the speed sensor cause that ?? yours i believe is OBD2 compliant so if the light has come on it might have stored a fault code

Guess its a case of taking it to fiat better save 40 quid

Only cuts the power during a wheelspin

most places have OBD2 so no need for fiat. nearly any garage can read it.

wheel spin shouldnt affect anything.


check your earths! sounds like its a loose earth, specially if your box been out, check the earth on your passanger wing.

Grr this car is really getting to me now its just one thing after another

Btw earths are good had them off the day after it started

all im sayin is i dont know waht can cause this, but im telling you there isnt a sensor or ecu or anything in your car that will read wheel spin so thats not the cause lol.

check the earth on the coilpacks aswell,

where do the coilpacks earth?

on the back of the coil pack . i had a problem that was spluttering in corners and it was this earth.

other than that im unsure, does definatly sound like something is earthing out or touching and shouldnt.

Iv just has a HT Lead unplug itself ? very strange ...

Using the ones it came with i think ... they are a plain black ..

No, just bad experiences with Bosch leads I bought on eBay recently. Is the issue 100% reproducible with wheelspin?

Yes and when i throw it into a corner hard enough to light up a wheel

How does your fuel pump sound when priming up? Quite loud, or just normal?

Not loud enough to be noticeable unless u were listening for it

Still doing it tonight however wen the roads are damp sometimes it will allow threesum
