General why is my car poorly..........

It has finally happened to me,2 and a half years of owning fiat cinqs my black sporting gave up on thursday
I had just bought my eaton m45 supercharger of ebay,going to pick my missus up and it felt like some one had nicked the engine.It was dead.
So i got it back, started getting to work on it checking sensors,fuel pressure,spark plugs etc etc
Took cover off coils found it was tracking to head.
Done that, still nothing.
Off comes spi unit,split map sensor pipe and ruptured gasket.
Done that,now injector light is flashing.
So this leads me to ask does anyone know a cheap method of reading of fault codes from e.c.u?Anything ceaper than 45 quid plus 25 call out that is.
Gona check cam belt(may have jumped) but seems nice and tight still.
any one with similar please let me know cos' i want to sort it quickly.

I think 45 quid is more than FIAT charge.

Exactly what are/were the symptoms? Is the car running now?

get a tow to a dealer and get fault read for £35.

Sadly its an older ecu so not OBD, therefore modern/common ecu readers are no use.
