General Who's still with us?

I'm still here - don't get to check in that often as I'm spending so much time in my Ulysse. 17500 miles since June 30th this year, still look forward to getting in it every day. Now wishing I had ordered more options though, like a proper sat nav and separate CD stacker. May well investigate MP3 options in the New Year.

Reckon that this is a much better car than a Galaxy, and you don't see that many around, unlike the Ford/Seat/Volkswagen SharAlhambralaxy. Only signifcant moan is that the MPG is nowhere near the F/S/V, which could easily be coaxed to 45/46 mpg. I am averaging around 37/8 and I have been Angeled. The engine is much quieter though, whereas you know the FSV thing is a diesel all the time.

You can also get alot more in the Ulysse as a 5 seater as the boot space is bigger with fewer intrusions from suspension etc. The Ulysse gets dirty quicker and I still forget the fuel filler is on the left hand side.

Anyway, enough of my drivel.

Good to see that you are still around, Rich!

Will have to look at our fuel consumption - car mainly used for school runs, unless at weekends when I give it a blat. Although I do enjoy driving the Stilo now ;)

Hi Paul,

Glad you could join us :D - how is the car going anyway? Still enjoying it?

And some pics to upload to the gallery are always welcome :)

I still have yet find anything to complain about........famous last words!!

Its got 6500 miles on it in 3 and a bit months but have just got an old Micra to put some miles on instead!

The car suits my purposes perfectly the only wish is a DVD based nav because swapping disks just makes it too difficult for the wife to use it to cross borders.

I wish all the forum members a Merry Christmas.

Cheers

Paul

Hi All, yeah still around and checking the forum every couple of weeks or so. Car is reasonably well behaved, the last thing being the infamous "Engine depollution system failure" notice a couple of weeks ago. Research Fiat in Nuneaton (who have been pretty good) had it in and reset it.

Hope that you all have an enjoyable Christmas and best of luck for 2005.

Count me in too - Ulysee is doing fine, and I still enjoy driving it. Most used feature is the text reader, which is programmed to say "Hello children in the back seat, please be nice to each other and do not fight". Thanks, forum, for helping me out with all the things they forgot to put in the manual.

Hi

@ Leigh, can you recall what you were doing when the 'EOBD' light came on? When mine has come on in the past, it has also managed to self-reset itself the next day.

@ Robert - that sounds like a very useful tip :D

Many thanks for all those who have 'checked in' - still think I am missing a few though....
