At about 2500 rpm, under light load, I get a light whistling noise from my Marea 1.6 auto. It happens in any gear,and disappears under acceleration.It sounds like an old carburettor air leak, and I think it started when Fiat changed a fuel injector some years ago. Its hard to trace as it is somewhere 'under the dash'. It hasnt got any better or worse over the years, performance is ok, I just dont do 2500 revs! any ideas?
