Technical Which size wheels? How low?

Ive got a Punto Sporting Mk. 1 .Anybody got any tips on what size wheels to go for 16" or 17" and how low i can go with both sizes, also will arches need rolling?

Well when i had my mk1 punto i was told a few times that the biggest wheels it will take with out messing around with the wheel arches were 17" but whether thats right or not?

Not yet, i will have soon though. Yes i heard i could sit it on its backside on 16's but with 17's it might be more hassle than its worth. I dont know whether i want to compromise looks for handling.
