Which camera?

I recently bought a Samsung L310w for £90 on amazon which is incredibly cheap!
but they sent me the wrong model. they sent me the P1200.
they advised they can swap it for me, or issue £12 refund and i'll keep the one they sent.

im not sure what to do.
they look identical, from what i can tell. have near enough identical features. But the L310w is 13.6 mp and the P1200 is 12 mp.

will i notice any differece between the two? as 1.6 mp isn't alot when the pixels are already 12mp.

its only for taking car pics, and pics on nights out, not any landscape photography or anything

The pixel count is almost irrelevant in compacts due to the very small sensors. If it's only for taking snaps, I'd stick with the one they've already sent you and take the refund.

I know this is a bit late in the day, but unless you are going to print larger than A4 you really don't need 12MP. One of the top Nikons used for sports photography was only 6MP.

my DSLR is 6mp, and i've printed A3+ from that and it looks fine
