Where did my thread go!?!??

I had a thread up in here, about the value of my wheels... but its disappeared!?!?

It was here this morning, when I briefly checked a reply and someone had very kindly put some valuable information up there for me.

I went to check back this afternoon, to jot it down and it's disappeared?


I've done a search for it, but it's gone!!!!!!!!

I do remember that, yes! But nowhere in there does it state or even ask about the price of my wheels! Or about the PCD!!

It's a completely different question, LOL!!

Is there any way of getting that information, from the thread, back please? - as it was actually useful!

no point asking me,im not the section mod so cannot see deleted threads in this section.
many threads are moved and deleted daily for many reasons.
im sure a pm would be nice but onfortunatly mods dont have time for that in the bulk of cases
your question was for the value of your wheels.
thus you (i assume) were looking to sell them

My question was about the value, yes. Then later on, about the PCD.

In my experience of forums, if I were to put something for sale without a price, I would be hounded. As far as I could see on this site, you have to have the price for the classifieds bit. Seeing as I didn't know what they would be worth if I were to sell them and return the car to standard, then I thought I would ask!

Yes, the mods are busy - I realise this as I run my own successful car forum. But they've taken the time to close and delete the thread. IMO it's just common courtesy to PM the thread starter with an explanation!

Good to know about the 'offers' thing, thanks.

But, TBH, 'offers' doesn't really help me. I wanted to know a price, so that I could work out whether it was worth the effort of returning to standard. And it doesn't help me when I look to advertise them elsewhere!

Any idea who I need to get in touch with, about this? Or if someone could point them in the direction of this thread?
