General Where are the horns?

My horns on my '78 X1/9 are not working. I'd like to check the horns before proceeding further, but I cannot find them. I've found the relay and the "Azzurro" wire that's suppose to lead to the horns...but it just goes somewhere towards the back of the dash. Am I on the right track?

Where are the horns suppose to be?

You can find them under the access panels for the headlamp pods. There is one on each side. A torch might help you see the units better.

Horns did not work when I bought my first one. A fuse for them was blown so that was replaced. But as soon as the horn button was pressed you could hear the fuse 'pop'. Turned out the spade connector that fed one of the horns was actually connected to the earth crown!
