General When you're out driving this week...

...take extra care. One of the lads at Puntosports got caught out at lowish speed by some ice on the road today and ended up totalling his 75 in a big way and lucky to climb out with only blood injuries.

Puntos have a bit of roll and suspect wet surface grip at the best of times so given the forecast this week look hard at the road ahead, think way in advance about bends and generally use the kid gloves especially out in the countryside. Remember sliding is always caused by not matching your speed to the road conditions/grip so know your car's limits and know yours.

Sorry if this sounds like a bit of an obvious lecture but it's bad enough losing what was a really nice Punto we don't want to lose anything more [V]

I have noticed that puntos seem to have a bit of crappy grip what is it, my sporting went 360 going round a large island doing about 15mph in wet weather wasnt even cold so im very warey now especially when its icy too havent experianced that yet in a punto [xx(]. So good advice!

As for me, well I would gladly drive safely if I could actually get OUT OF THE DRIVE!!! It's steep and the tarmac's new and it's like a sheet of glass with the black ice. Wheels just spin. I can't even walk out, have to crawl!
