General When is a Multipla Diesel Run In ?

Bought my 2008 Multipla at 22,532 miles last year in early October and was getting approx 40mpg for the first month, doing approx 80% motorway at 60 -70 mph.

Now 7000 miles later since bought and getting approx 44-45mpg, doing approx 80% motorway at 60 -70 mph

Is it likely to get better as the mileage increases or does its flatten out at a specific mileage ?

Most modern Diesels are still fairly 'fresh' at 100,000 miles or more.
You can't really change how soon it loosens up fully, so don't bother about it, just enjoy.

Odd really as the Stilo MW felt run in at around 50K and the Croma felt run in around 30K. My engine effectivley is the same engine as the Fiat Croma 1.9 8V, so should be looser, but not yet.

Depends a lot on how they're driven/treated/maintained as well of course.
