I'm need of alloys, i really like the thick spoke look, and I've come across these

FONDMETAL 6800

These are a lil out of budget, unless i can find them for 350 with tyres.

my question was,

is there any particular way, i can buy 17's and not need to lower them. like if i had the right offset and tyre size or something, any help would be great
.

you dont need to lower the suspension when you fit 17s

personally i would use no bigger than 215/45/17
i would prefer 205/40/17 for the size, but the ride will be very hard.

thanks, honestly i'm very much the newbie when it comes to cars.

what about 16's??
.. cos 215's on tyres sound a lil on the fat side, not sure if they are, maybe i'll pop into the auto shop round the corner to have a nose around.

on 16's i'd personally go for 205/45/16, but 205/50/16 would be fine and probably cheaper.

215 is a wide tyre for the size of the car, i know it fits without rubbing, but in my opinion it looks too wide, it depends what look you're going for.
