Styling Wheel Sizes- please help

Hi

Please advise me as I'm really confused

I currently have 165/65R14 tyres on 5Jx14 rim

I want to go to 185/55R14 tyres on a 5.5Jx14 rim

would the speedo, odommer etc get affected?

Please let me know and thanks in advance

You're saying that they wheels are staying 14" then

if the diameter of the wheel is staying the same then nothing is gona change

the diameter will remain the same but the tyre wall height does change as far as I understand. DO you know what 5J and 5.5J mean?

it won't be noticeable on that size change.
