@ StoneNewt - It's stupid when something is so obvious you can't see it yourself Good idea!

@balidey - I did think about getting a flat locking nut, hacking a wobbly bolt and sitting the collar under the nut. Then i thought this seemed too much of a bodge and would rather try the wobbly locking bolt way...don't want the wheels falling off on me lol

kritip, no luck on the wobbly nuts im afraid. our suppliers do them in a 1.5 thread but not in a 1.25 thread. so unless you can get studs that convert to a 1.5 thread your buggered
