Can anyone help? I have lost one wheel bolt.
Ordered a replacement from Europarts m12x1.25. However it is not long enough, only turns two threads.
Every search after entering reg. comes up with this size. Can I get longer bolt same thread from anyone?

M12x1.25 is the size and pitch of the thread, but doesn't describe the length of the bolt.

The bolt length is measured from the tip of the bolt to the start of the taper.
I can't remember the standard bolt length.

If you've purchased an M12x1.5 thread bolt, that is wrong.
It is M12x1.25 thread.

There is an error of pitch.. thats why it goes tight after 2 turns ;)

Simple check:

Remove 1 bolt from a different wheel

Put the bolts alongside eack other.. compare the lengths..

Then lay the threaded parts on top of each other.. they should lay together perfectly

IF one set of peaks 'ride.up'

You probably have one bolt at 1.25 and one at 1.50

Count 10 thread crests.. over what lengths are 10 peaks 12.5 mm or 15.0 mm ?
