General Whats your Equalizer? :D

Just been playing around with the stereo (as fitted a replacement cd changer) and wondered what EQ (equalizer) you all used?

There are so many hidden extras in the stilo, and the radio is definately one of them. The sound quality is fantastic!

Mines set as Rock, it has the best bass.

mine is....

.... ripped out and replaced with a kenwood unit and fine tuned for each part of EQ to match the stilos speakers, which are apparantly Bose in some of the cars

I have the normal visteon one with the cd changer in the compartment.

Just hold down the audio button down (the one that alters the bass etc.) and use arrows to re select.

Big stilo: I would have upgraded but, found a cd changer for not much £££

i miss tapes in cars- they always sounded better in a car

i played with mine and put them up quite a bit

lets just say, i get complaints at work for having it to loud

I have the same problem - oops mines on 4 bass and shifted back a bit but im not sure about the treble though haha, not really important

Car you customise the equilizer then??? Something else i learnt today, alongside how not to play in a kayak in a huge stopper.

The radio quality is suberb in the stilo, better than my hifi, maybe its got the bose speakers, who knows.

my hifi is better than the car one, but cant use it properly to its potential in my house

dealer did say mine had bose when i got the car, although wether he was telling the truth i dont know

we have bang and olufsen at home and there pretty good

Mine is set to User with high highs. Had it on Rock at first but was getting odd looks at traffic lights. Tried wearing a baseball cap back to front but it messed my hair so I cut the bass down.
Still got the loudness on and speed adjustment on.

I believe at present it's:

Rock.
Bass +2.
Treb +2.
Loudness OFF (too much panel/trim vibration otherwise).
Speed/Volume OFF.

Sounds quite good for a stock system, panel rattle aside.

i get a bit of ratle from the switches for the leccy windows/mirrors

i have my base set at a booming 6

I have a connect nav+ and think it sounds terrible. All low and rumbly sounding, as if you are standing outside the car with the doors shut, rather than being in the car. Have changed bass/ fader/ etc, but cant improve it a great deal.
What am I missing?

If I set my bass at 6, my doors rattle haha
