Technical What's the Offset (ET) for steel rims to Punto GT

Hi!
I have a little problem . I've bought Fiat Punto GT two months ago and I don't what's the number of ET. I have 14" alloy rims but mechanic told me that's different then in steel rims. I was looking for it everywhere and I couldn't find it. I need this ET for 14" steel wheel please help me. Thanks for your help

you should get away with any thing between 35mm and 40mm with 14s

I think punto's are ET36 but don't quote me on that.
you should be fine with anything 14" in that range
