Technical Whats the difference?

Hey,

Ive had to change the suspension leg on my '93 cinquecento, and to cut the costs we went to DIY motorists in Deal to get another one - however we bought a suspension leg for a sporting cinquecento instead - is there any difference and how would it affect my car?

Any help would be very helpful :worship:

leg? do you mean wishbone, or strut? i presume we are talking fronts?

the wishbones are the same, the struts are the same but the springs are slightly different (the sporting sits lower).

you should be replacing suspension parts in pairs though, don't forget that.

I thought the Sporting struts were shorter (to take into account the lowerness). Could very well be wrong, though.

But always replace in pairs -- the working life of a strut is only about 40 - 50,000 miles, anyway.
