My favourite shirt was a Newcastle Brown rugby shirt that was free with so many bottle labels, luckily I shopped at a cash and carry, but it did mean there were several red plastic crates around in my yard, I still like the taste, but it does have to be well chilled.:)

I suppose its a smile. Parting with 6.5 K... In the end it was a 100% replaster with all outside walls boarded with thermal boards first, and one studwork wall redone internally. Its been done on time as promised and the standard is good so overall I am happy. I can see the end in sight at least. Which will we get to first, the end of the project or the demise of my knees?

Had this one sent to me today,

PS. Stand well back if showing the other half!! :ROFLMAO:
To be fair, the other half (Larra Jarsse to her friends!) thought it was quite amusing, but wanted to see the one for men!!

I used to have the male one but have long since chucked it out. Great things for COSHH training. Everyone gets it.

Edit. Just spoke to Mrs Panda Nut her response was "I think most women could write one for men"

At some time, Karcher have changed their pressure washer fittings. Newer attachements won't fit onto older washers. The bayonet fitting is deeper on older stuff. The good news, they make an adaptor, to fit new stuff to old washers.
I researched this some time ago, thought I'd bought the adapter, but now couldn't find it. Looked in the obvious places, and a few places where it should not be. No joy.
Collected a new one from Screwfix, took it to the garage, to place it in its 'right' place. Next to the earlier one. Hiding in plain sight.
When I next need it, I won't be able to find either.

I have recently started to attach (if possible) a length of bright green/yellow 2mm paracord to stuff that I'm constantly losing 💡

Oh dear, I do this frequently. Not so much buying a new one, I just wait until the old one turns up. I'd lost my very old tape measure some years ago and eventually did have to give in and buy a new one. Within just a few days the old one turned up in the bottom of the box I keep all my new/old kitchen and joinery fixings and screws in - absolutely no recollection of having put it there but so pleased to see an old "friend again after so long! I now never put tools down on scuttle panels or anywhere on a vehicle I'm forking on because I do tend to forget I left it there. I have a wee table beside the car and everything gets put on the table - either it's in my hand, on the table, or maybe, on the floor, but not in the vehicle to disappear when my boys/their wives/etc drive off in it.

First needed air con fill on a 2014 panda, has been cold every other year til just lately, expected problems as it failed quickly but leak pressure tested, refilled and ice cold all week.
Was it check in the intervening years? If not it's probably been loosing a wee bit as time passes - that's normal. they all do it and they do it quicker if you don't regularly use it, even in winter. It'll have just reached the tipping point where the pressure dropped below the point at which the sensor permits the system to work. The big question now will be whether the recharge has put enough additional strain on something to cause it to start failing? You're about to find out. Hope all goes well, it probably will.

I was offered and took an additive by my local man, who is air con qualified. Seals minor leaks. We had a leak on mums car ans the seal was behind the dash. IT worked. Also had extra lubricants. I would always ask fo this now.

I did this with a compression tester. I did end up with a nicer unit than the one I had 'lost'.

Chistmas I bought Mrs a cordless vacuum. SMOTURE VC80. She / we all love it. Its been fabulous.
Would we do a review?? You can have a free spare battery if you post a review. Ok its great so a strong review and 5* rating. Free battery was nicked in transit so we complained and got a replacement and a spare filter for the trouble. Im still 100% happy with the excellent product and service. As it wasa gift registered to mrs Pnut she was asked uf she would test new products. She said yes.

Last week. would we test a new vacuum. Buy it and do a review on the web. They will refund the cost.... They even pointed out you can always send it back to Amazon if you dont trust us. Anyway we bought it. Its also superb. Effective and beautiully made. She did the review, easy its still a 5* thing. Begging email sent and full refund recieved today in our bank. I can however recommend the Smoture products as effective and good value. At the moment at least they have working and decent customer setvice too. Me, pleased with a new purchase, no delighted... that, is rare.

Edit. Its gone, I dont have it any more.... For Sale 1 daughter, comes with free vaccum cleaner.

I lent a diesel compression tester to another mechanic, some how he fired the engine up with it in and destroyed it, but he was kind enough to give me a nearly new Sykes Pickavant one that was much better.:)

Panda needed a recharge last year, second time in 10 years of ownership. Then only a year later, performance cool instead of cold. Pump started making occasional knocking noises. I braced myself for the effort of replacing pump, condenser and probably pressure valve, as these are recommended after pump failure, as they catch debris. Local garage happy to evacuate, and refill once I'd done the work.
They recommended just a recharge first, and see whether noise goes away. Removing the port caps, one of them gave a 'psst', so both valves replaced, gas recharged, vac test good, no leaks. All seems to be working fine again. Bullet currently dodged.
The valves don't get 'tested' during a regas, as the machine is holding them open. Some places replace as routine. Always worth asking about leaks there.

Fingers crossed for you that's all it needed. The chap who does the aircon at the garage I use told me he replaces the valves every time. I think that's a good idea.
