If I could buy british I would but we don't seem to make tools anymore and the britsh companies left get them made in far eastern countries anyway - take for example Moore & Wright. They made the BEST engineering tool in the world once now although the name still exists there made in the east I have Sheffield built moore & Wright tools from the 60's and 70's that once belonged to my dad and thier so much better made than the M&W stuff of today ........ Very sad indeed that we live in a cheap throw away world

but click on them and you see some only have Design Facility in UK, they are made some where else.

Speaking of cheaply made disposable items. More electrical gremlins in the micra, is it wrong I just want rid of the damn thing? Tbf 70 quid would probably sort whats up with it until something else small but annoying packs up.

Just to add to this...its ****ing snapped a spring..I'm officially done with it.

And also according to the mrs it would have been fine if I hadn't gone looking for problems, theres nothing wrong with it it's only broken because I noticed it was broken. It looks like its got one lowering spring ffs..Its all a conspiracy to stop her affording the wedding not the inevitable consequences of her abusing a decade old car...obviously:bang:

Tbf we've had it 4 years and it was a great car till about 6 months ago, but it just feels like its on a death spiral, its cost 500 in last few months not including whatever this is gonna cost plus fixing the u/s electric boot opener then maybe the knackered thermostat after.

well dropped the ball on my part but as businnesses go they make things 10 times worse, and as the well known green shop I work for are cutting 4000+ managers roles, and cutting 200+hours per week in store it makes me wonder.....

Meant to be at work at 4.15am to be in London for an 8am delivery.....woke up at 4.10am with a usual 30 minute drive to work....did it in 22 minutes and made it to London by 8.15am................ proved to myself once again what a damn useful A/B road weapon the 100hp is.........:devil:

It's fixed now, as well as a snapped coil the broken spring had hit the drop link and damaged that as well...yeah definitely sounds like one those small fiddly things that you can safely ignore

She sees it as me being all precious, I see it as the same principle as I'd rather buy a bottle of oil every once in a while than replace an engine that's run dry....

Come to think of it I will never understand why "one lady owner" is seen as a positive thing...my car had one lady owner and she did more damage in the 1st 18 months of its life than I've done since...

Grumpy is not the word I'm livid!
I've had the same number for 15years, never once have I had spam messages,
Now I'm getting one a day!
And all because I put my mobile number on my passport form, no one else, never gave it to anyone or any company's just the passport office!
Can I do something about this? Have they broke the law sharing my number with a 3rd party?
