I didn't even get interviews for my placement (that I'm on now) until August, though I did start to apply incredibly late. I was working 12 hours plus my second year, so I left finishing up my CV and applying until mid May (post exams)... dolt!

FYI, I applied for two via the University (that were actually advertising for placement students) and speculatively wrote to 46 other companies... only 15 bothered to reply at all, and only one gave me a telephone interview. So don't be put off if you send out a ton of letters and emails and get bugger all back (even more so for emails, where they could at least take 5 seconds to hit reply and paste in a form letter).

My grump, TalkTalk, check which ISP you'll be on if you have to move out for your placement

I've heard if you give the doctor a couple of extra quid they'll add a couple of extra stitches in for you when he is tidying up down there .

man, so p!ssed off at the fact i didnt win that 4x4 panda. the best bit was that i set the max snipe cost at £552.80. so i would of won it.

After my first baby a phsyo can to see me to help with how i felt after the labour and she started going on about pelvic floor exercises asked her if she was gonna show me how when she told me well no but i can explain i told her to F off and that i was a big girl and i knew how to make my pee stop mid flow. Honest to god the midwives in our hospital were useless too don't think i'll be going back again

buyer might have set his max to 600 or more though, so all your bit would have done is push price up for them

you have to kneed them for ages to stop them going like rubber or rocks and you have to properly prheat your oven to the right temp too cant get away with turning it really high them turning it down it has to be the right temp i used to be able to make brilliant scones but i just can't do it anymore
