I am very sorry to divert the thread, I came in at the wrong page. Sorry for your loss hun, my mum died earlier this year, and there's nothing people can say but you just gotta put on a brave face and carry on like I'm sure your friend would want you to. But make sure you have a good cry regularly, no matter how fed up people get however many months down the line!

Been there about 5 years ago...not a good place to be, first christmas was very tough there usually plenty to remind of what is missing. Still not a fan of christmas now TBF :hug:
