getting whined at by my ma because i didnt take pictures of my old bikes to sell yet had i done that she would have found something else to moan about and id be even more miserable. :bang::bang::bang::bang:

drinking won't solve anything, gotta respect the fact it your mum and dads place they pay for it so you have to be pretty respectful.
I needed more freedom so I moved out rahter than try and do my own thing all the time and cause arguments
Of course now I don't have the moeny to do half the things I have the freedom to do, oh well theres always time

The same people are also homing, feeding, clothing you and putting cash in your pocket. They have also just bought you a new car. The way I see it your parents are upset because you havent done what they asked you to do, regardless of how trivial it may seem to you its important to them because it works both ways. They are doing everything for you but you wont do anything for them.
Try a bit harder to keep them sweet and things will improve.....trust me

i understand exactly what you are saying and i would normally agree.
however my ma is of the sort where you could do everything under the sun to please her and she would still whine at you and whine at you worse than if you just didnt bother.
anyhow. im not going to start an argument as i really cant be bothered, so ill leave it at that.

this weekend i have replaced a Down lighter in the dining room (transformer had gone splat)
Washed my dad's car,
Changed a blown headlamp bulb in it tonight via torch light
Cleaned the cooker hood,
took my mum and dad breakfast in bed
Cooked tea
and i still feel guilty that i could have done a bit more

So damn true, once you've done something good there's always something much worse to balance it out again.I know people who have had to sleep on the sofa overnight cos their missus has dreamed that he was cheating on her. :bang:
