What's made you grumpy today?

Why do people pay money to go to a gig, then chat all the way through it, including moaning about the beer and the fact that its in plastic tumblers.

If you want to talk and drink beer out of glass go to a pub.

Leave the gig to those that want to listen to the turn.

Cheers

People who want something for nothing/very little!

I'm currently selling a set of Atilo blade alloys both on here and on E-Bay. They need a refurb, but they are straight. I started them at £100. Seemed fair, £25 a wheel.

Anyay I got an E-Mail from a person wanting me to lower the starting bid to £80 becuase he'd have to spend £50 on refubing them (I guess DIY) and £30 on a courier to collect and deliver them.

So he/she wants me to reduce my price so he can have a fully refurbed set of 17" blade alloys forr £160! I said no thank you, but why? Would you go to Sainsburys and say;

"Hi, I'd like a bag of frozen chips, but I want 20% off the price because I'll have to open the bag myself, and then, I'll have to pay for the gas to cook them, oh and I'll have to drive them home."

You either have the money to pay, or you don't. I can understad asking for money off a big purchase from a big company, car buying for instance, but really, £100 starting bid for a set of alloys!

And another thing, was listening to the hateful Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 some weeks ago and he was again spouting his hateful tripe that the world is terrible aan everyone is out to get everyone else to his normal audience of retarded oiks. He was talking about potential government legislation of basic human rights to be reinforced by governement through benefits. He had a guest who suggested that a two week foreign holiday with spending money was a basic human right and should be payed for by the taxpayer for the long term unemployed, and other general layabouts. So I'd be paying for someone else to enjoy two weeks abroad, while I cannot afford to do the same even though I work? Erm, NO.

If you want a job in this country, you can find a job. It may not be comfortable, it may not be brill, but if no cash go without!

how much did they sell for in the end then?

They're still for sale, runs till next Sunday.

If they don't make at the very least a hundred pounds I'm going to keep them, spray them matt black with thick antichip paint and put cheap winter tyres on them so I'm less likey to ruin my nice gunmetal sprayed ones on salt kerbs and crud!

Had my last straw with the car.

Rear suspension seems like its totaly stuffed... Creeks and a metal sound every time i go over a little bump in the road.

Front drivers side ball joint needs replacing due to the lovely drive of my x-girlfriend.

Exhaust is still blowing even though i covered it with a bandage.

Seems like the head gasket is starting to go again... Looks like ill be spending my lovely day off this week sorting that out again... Wont have time to send it off to a engineer to get it skimmed. So i'll have to just tighten it up and give it another bloody service if theres any sign of serious mayo (n)

I think i've just about had it... Might stick it in for an MOT and flog it on eBay now. Should get some money for it.

Still not sure on what to do... In my eyes my car is worth totaly fixing and keeping. But it's just been such a *bleep* every day...
When I need it to be reliable it's playing up.
Thinking of a diesel. But then again are the JTD mk2 Puntos that reliable?

Pants day in the office and then came home to a bad news letter - court summons :(

The office won't be a walk in the park tomorrow which is really what I dont need with the above news :yuck::yuck:

lol why? I didn't smash the child...I wanted to, but I refrained and said it didn't matter

I must admit that I started to feel less patient when I realised he was only crying so hard, cos it interrupted his game that he was playing at the time
