When ur putting it into reserve you have made sure the car has fully stopped and you have depressed the clutch fully as well as pushing the gearstick all the way down?

Cables have a tendency to stretch and clutches settle in after a few miles. Have a lookey at the pedals, the clutch should sit just under the level of the brake pedal - if it's more you need to adjust the clutch cable.
offtopic, in reference to ur sig imola - 1208 cinq? you mean a 1108 or 1242?
