So guys... I was dissabembling my engine to clean everything before doing a block swap.
This is the first time that I do something so indept like this.
When I removed the pistons I didn't noticed what side they were facing.
Can someone guide me to where they sould face? One of the sides as as 12 marked, half on the rod and on the cap.
The other side has a bunch of engravings.

Which side faces the water pump side?
Will post fotos.

Try and put each big end back on the crankshaft journal that it came off.

Thank you so much Brooky. The tops os the pistons where black with gunck and while cleaning I only noticed that it has a B M engraved, but didn't noticed the Arrow bettew them. :)

The big ends are the caps that hold de crankshaft? or the caps that connect to the piston rod?

Try to put the pistons back the correct cylinders ie piston 1 in cylinder 1 etc

Even if different block.

That way the bearings in bottom of connecting rod on correct crankshaft pins.

Does anyone know if I can use the torque specs of the cinq Sporting that are here on the forum to torque the 1.2 crackshaft caps, piston caps, cranck pulleys and etc?
