Cars looking sweet mate, liking the alloy choice.
Springs would finish it off nicely.

Pretty sure that exhaust would fit too. Same way I did mine.

Cheers! Got 3 of them off ebay for £97 including tyres, buying another one singularly to finish off the set, just popped these on for the photo.
Hopefully, can't wait to have her sitting properly.
Lovely job because I bought it! It fits on okay then? Did you weld it on?

Ah sorry dude, forgot to get back to ya,
I was meant to but clamped it as a temporary solution whilst my "welder friend" was busy, bit of Ali joint sealant from work to fill any gaps and well, its still like it.

Passed MOT like it...., ;)

No worries mate.
Ah nice, as long as it doesn't fall off and passes MOT ;) only problem is the previous owner didn't give me much to play with off the back of the new backbox; got about 2 inches to use!
Gonna just take it to college and make a piece of pipe which will fit over both ends perfectly to then weld on :) or clamp if I'm feeling lazy!

Mines joined just before the pipe goes over the rear axle.
Yeah just like that, definitely get it welded though, rang my guy earlier, gonna see if he can fit me in. Totally forgot about it tbh.

Fitted the new backbox today! Only clamped on at the moment, going to weld it when I get the chance. The guy I bought it off chopped it off very close to the back of the backbox, giving me about 2cm to use. Due to this I couldn't fit it very securely at that point and it does blow a little bit, but when I weld it this should stop :)

Also, I used a reducer pipe to connect the two different diameter pipes, and this obviously extended the entire length of the system, so it sticks out a bit too much for my liking. When I take it off to weld it I'm going to chop 2/3cm off the length of the reducer to bring the tip in a bit :)

I've seen the red badges on ebay for £20, not looked anyewhere else though.

I have a completely unrelated question. How do you remove the gaiter from around the gearstick? I know the square bit at the bottom is clipped in & just needs lifting but then how does the small ring at the top come off & the new gaiter go back on? Do you have to remove the gear knob from the stick? If so how do you do that? I woudnt mind changoing the gear knob on my panda 100hp but don't want to have to cut it off or anything.

Cheers

Yeah I've seen them on ebay for £20ish but heard you can get them somewhere for about £9.99, so don't want to pay ebay prices!
I've never taken off the gaiter before, but the gear knob just twists off anticlockwise. Takes a bit of force but it should twist off. I'm not sure what the small ring looks like from memory but even if you cut it off I'm sure you could replace it

Thanks Luke

£9.99 eh, well if you find them for that price then please share. I want to change all my badges, even though they are the red ones I fancy new.

I'll give the gear knob a twist, see what happens. If it does twist off the ring will just slide over the thread.

Jon

No problem. Any other questions just send me a message and I'll do my best to help!
Yes they do eventually face and start to get affected by rain! I have the old style bad, painted it silver inside but prefer the new shape badge!
