Got bored of faux leather so changed to carbon fibre. I know it's not original and loads of people have their dash carbon fibre but I had some lying about

Holy Jesus **** that's sexy. How did you do that?

Oh your 17? That might explain it. Even though they are modified car specialists they still like their drivers to be a little above the 'just legal' stage. Give it 12-24 months and it will be a different story for you. Bit of a bummer in the meantime though.

Fancy some new shoes, but can't decide what. On ebay at the moment I'm watching some 17" calibre vintage, and some 15" ats cups. The calibre vintage don't come with tyres so would need to fit tyres but could use the 205/40's from my wolfrace. Whereas the cups come with 165/50 tyres with a small amount of stretch. If I had the cups, I think to make it look right it'd need to be low but got the springs waiting to be fitted so should be okay. What are peoples opinions?

I would go with the 17's and transfer the tyres across as even with the sportlines there would still be a massive gap between your arch and the 15" ats cups in my opinion, I have 17" sporting alloys and im on Esseesee aprings and the gap is just right for me I dropped around 20mm :)
If you were going to get the 15" ats cup's I would look at getting some adjutable coilovers as they would give you more drop (y)

No I didn't I bought mine brand new for £80 :D A good drop for me to say what I paid for them and got them fitted for nothing.

I think you should go for 17" if it was me personally because it will not only fill the wheel arch more because if you get 15" its an extra payout plus you've got to sell the sportlines which you got at an amazing price (y)

Oh that's not a bad price!
I used to think that, but honestly it makes no difference! The 17's would have lower profile tyres so the total diameter of rim and tyre is pretty much equal on them both! My 15" steelies with standard tyres filled the arch more than my wolfrace alloys. Hmm yeah I did get them at a great price..

And the 17's on ebay are getting a bit expensive at the moment, £315 including postage so far and you can get them brand new for £380!

I know what you mean abou the tyre width filling the gap, in my opinion though I would rather see more metal than tyre in the wheel arch :p

Get them brand new then in my opinion especially if you have the tyres for them :)

Does anyone know if a T-jet back box will go on my car? My backbox is pretty rusted and I want to replace it, and there is someone breaking their T-jet on ebay. I'd also like the t-jet back box as it has the tip on the end! I imagine the diameter of the pipe is smaller on my car but is this true? Could I not just weld in a pipe increaser?
Thanks

Thanks pal. Don't know why the picture just corrupted though  but yeah, Multijet alloys now! Will get some more photos in the next few days.
I much prefer them to the Wolfrace alloys I had on before. I'll just have to be nicer to my gearbox as due to 205/45 tyres there is an increase of just over 3% in diameter/circumference, therefore putting more strain on the gearbox etc. They say try stay within 2.5% as it knocks the speedo out a bit but it is only slight!
