RCA converter finally came (hong kong...) so got that fitted in about 20 minutes. Glad to finally be able to use the sub with the rest of the car. F***ing sick!

Hi guys, I have a question. It's been like ever since I had the car, not really bothered me too much but my key will only open/unlock etc the car when the key is right near the car. I thought it might be the key battery so I changed it but it still won't work from a proper distance. What could be causing this? I'm not too bothered but it would be nice to be able to lock and unlock my car from more than a foot away. Thanks if any one can help!
Might sound a tad stupid but have you made sure the reciever (the little black nipple in the middle of the dash) is clean, some times if mine gets dusty range is limited but never down to that sort of distance.

Isn't that little "nipple" for the rain sensor (or whatever) if applicable. ?
nope mate its not a rain sensor, just the central locking sensor.

That's what that is!? Ooooh I never knew what that was! Thank you, I'll give it a wipe down later and see if that helps. I had no idea that's what it was.

Finally got round to taking vinyl off other pillar.
just gone through all 40 pages buddy and i have to say youve done a great job so far, but i can assure you that once you have coilovers and have it sitting sweet you will never look back. you wouldnt think so but they transform a car from not bad, to sweeeeeet!
and your mate with the blonde hair in the vid on page 33 is niiceee haha,

and also just a quick tip if your thinking about changing your alloy colour. buy some Foliatec Spray FILM! i have just done mine in matt black and they look mint! and the best part is, if you dont like it, peel it off

Thank you! I can't disagree with you one bit, lowering GP's makes them look a million times better. Coilovers is something I've wanted to do to day one and when it comes to sorting out insurance again I'm gonna call EVERYONE haha and see what they say about lowering. If I find an insurer that doesn't put up premium greatly for lowering then I will be buying some coilovers that night

take a look at plastidip its cheaper than the foliatec and works really well. MILLIONS of people use it haha including me
foliatec is a rip off with pretty much all there products!
