Hello,

I'm running one of the older Ulysse models - 1999 and it is a metallic blue, qutie dark. I cannot find the colour identification plate so I'm not really sure what the code is although looking in the book Royal Blue seems the best bet (Fiat code is 424 and the normal code is KLM). Halfords do not seem to stock much in the way of Fiat Blue's although there is Peugeot Royal Blue but that appears to be a flat and lighter colour judging by the lid.

Any ideas on how I can work this out?

Thanks.

They used to put the paint code on a sticker on the boot lid. Halfords can make up any colour themselves either as a can or touch up pen. I think it needs to be a big Halfords though.

Thanks, had a look but no joy. The manual shows a paint identification plate which I've located where it says but my car only has a sticker which shows tyre pressures but not much else, although the manual says it should have lots of other info.

I'll pop down Halfords and get them to have a look, ta!

Other option is to call a Fiat dealer and they might be able to look it up on their system.

Further to this, I had a very odd squeaking noise whenever I changed gear (turned out to be a faulty exhaust flange - 11 quid, happy with that) so I took it down to the local Peugeot garage and they have indentified the colour as KLMC - which is Fiat's Royal Blue - makes sense as it is the only mettalic blue listed in the owners handbook. Problem is now, where can I get a touch up stick and spray paint? Halford's don't seem to do it so I am guessing Fiat dealer?

Did you got to the counter as they can make up any colour, it probably won't be on the shelf. My Volvo paint wasn't on the list, but they made it up from a paint list they had.
