What is going on?!

In the last few days i have had blue screen over 50 trojans and other very strange things happening to my laptop.

I haven't been on any sites other than the norm, nor downloaded anything or used anyones usb or anything like that.

What is going on and how are they getting on here? My virus scanner is run once a week as is my spybot my firewall is up and running.

Is someone messing with me? is it even possible for someone to access your comp undirectly? Ive got no other explanation

Anything else i could do or anyway i could protect myself? Someone has also been getting into my facebook and emails aswell. I dont use my card online so theres no important details they could get.

No i was having trouble before i installed it and its helped a lot. I remember the place where my ex got it and i went there to get it.

also just recently a new firefox blank page keeps opening itself

run spybot s & d again n there is more! installed avg trial for now incase the version i had was dodgy.

Is your user account a local administrator? That's the cause of many Windows problems. Unfortunately it's also how Windows XP will set itself up by default. That and Internet Explorer exploits. Windows weaknesses aren't generally a problem for a home user if you use a router.
As for virus scanners, anti-spyware and software firewalls, I don't use any of them

I had exactly the same problem, facebook account got hijacked, msn - hotmail amongst other things.

also had the firefox problem, page was just white and said done in the corner.

I had to recover my msn account 1st, which was a pain in the ass, then got my facebook back.

However it is worth running a program called combofix to get rid of any potential adware, malware, trojans, viruses or keyloggers befre you recover your accounts. No point in setting new passwords if they are being logged
