Steering wheel wasnt going to fit, was to big at the back and would have fouled on the stalks.

So i thought i'd swap the gear knobs over as the tempra one is a plastic ball shape whereas the one in the fizz was perishing rubber. come of the tempra in seconds, panda on the other hand! what pig!! ended up gutting the rubber off, then hacksawing the plastic bit and knawing the stick at the same time. then the tempra one wouldnt fit, so we drilled it out. fits now and is quite nice to use compared tot he other one. but i cant see it being permanent so i'll be getting an aftermarket one at somepoint. me thinks demon tweeks could have some nice ones in the motorsport bit.

It's not the flexi hose is it Kev? Apologies if you've already tried/discussed that.

By the way, there was a radio programme on the BBC at the weekend which featured Timbuktu briefly. Sounded well...., erm,... interesting!
 
Scarlet is in the garage as we speak, being gas axed and angle grindered. eeeek. hope she pulls through and is good to go when i get home.

driving the CLX today and omg, it feels crap compared to the fizz. fun though due to the wheels and low pro tyres. but the gearbox is crunch grind clunk crunch clunk grind. ah finally, second gear.
 
adjusted the new lights so no ones being blinded now. car feels much tighter when accelerating now with the new mount in place. dont get the nice sound though from the exhaust. i liked looking like chav for a week:(

Trims are still awaiting a layer of spray and i took th grille from the airbox out to to spray, thats primed and awaiting paint too. hopefully they'll get done tomorrow.
 
We are down to 1 car at the moment as Courgie is tucked away for the winter and Toady the Roadster is in for her service so we decided to take our ultra reliable poppi to ikea today and loaded her up with stuff. Including a flat packed double wardrobe.

We also managed to start our christmas shopping today too. (y)
