General What happened!?!?! Key problem?

Today I drove up to the shops. Got in my car and drove through to the next shopping estate and parked in a bay. Got out, realised I needed to move my car a bit forward so got back in. Put my key in the ignition, and for the life of me i could not get it to budge. It seemed fine in the lock on the door but it just wouldn't turn. I fiddled around with it for about 10 minutes and after a bit I managed to turn it fine, and it's been fine ever since. I have no idea why it wouldn't turn, is it perhaps something to do with the steering lock as my wheels were not completely straight when I parked?

Nothing to worry about, that's just the steering lock.

Next time it happens just turn your steering wheel slightly whilst turning your key in the ignition.
