Had the morning off, so used the time to give the Wee Yellow Beastie a thorough once-over before its 36k service.
Took the wheels off (what's the betting they won't do that as part of the service?), swapped the fronts with the rears, and took the opportunity to grind off the corrosion from the edges of the brake discs. The rear pads look to be slightly more worn than the fronts, which surprised me, but there's plenty of meat left on all of them, which is nice.
Now let's see if I get a phone call from the service department saying "Your pads are very worn - shall we replace them while your car's in the workshop?"
Or am I being too cynical?
