General wet 4x4 panda cutting out

i just drove the panda off road, and it rained alot. drove it through a rather large puddle and it cut out. then didnt start for 2 mins, then on the ay home kept cutting out. seems ok now???
does anyone know why this might be? i have not experienced the same problem in other 4x4 pandas. i thought maybe the spark plugs getting wet.

More chance you got the dizzy wet, if going off road into big puddles spray the dizzy with damp start first to seal it or wrap a plastic bag round it

those days remind me of my youth
nice flat road, big puddle......
out the otherside...... 15ft further down the road engine dies...
the joy of pushing a 4wd panda along the road at midnight
oh and the heaters dont dry out soggy shoes to well either.
10 minutes later heat soak must have dried out the affected parts coz it fired up after a bit of coaxing. shoes were never the same though
