Somethings stood up well to time. Other things did not. But it's still going strong.

MK1 2002 1.9JTD 200,000miles just achieved. (Reason for post)

Still a long way to go yet.

There is nothing I do not know about MK1 Doblo. This vehicle is 1 owner from new.

I sold my 2005 seven seater at 225k Miles and the guy drove it back to Wales, although I admit yours looks cleaner. I bought it from a Polish guy who put the mileage on it and sold it with a "faulty clutch" luckily I had priced correctly as it needed a recon gearbox/clutch and DMF. Apart from that in all the time I had it the only thing that failed was the Crank Shaft Position Sensor which made it cut out completely, but 10 minutes later it cooled down and I drove 15 miles home, diagnosed the sensor, fitted new and no other issue.:)

I had a 2004 1.9jtd from new, covered 140000 miles before i sold it , the engine was brilliant, so much better than my 1.3 doblo now 😭no faults only crank sensor and battery earth strap in my ownership 👍🏻
I agree I have two 1.6 Doblo MJ and had a Vauxhall Combo with the 1.3 MJ and the old 1.9 JTD was a king in comparison with all of them.
The smaller engines may claim to have similar power and better economy, but when it comes to engine torque at low speeds they are rubbish.
Strangely enough I had a Citroen Picasso 1560cc diesel that pulled well from just over a 1000rpm and was far nicer to drive than the 1598cc Fiat version, I see they now put that engine in Fiat Scudos which used to be the 2.0 litre Peugeot engines which taxi drivers used to around 500k miles in Peugeot Experts and Citroen Dispatch's, etc.
