Hello,

I have a GP Eleganza, and since I've had it the tailgate badge has had a huge crack down the middle of it, I've decided I'm sick of it now and would like to replace it. I've got the old badge off and set about searching for a new one, but here's where the problem begins.

My badge is completely different to everything else I have seen. As I understand it on base model GP's the badge is stuck on with adhesive and has a few locator pins, whereas mine is held in place with 2 10mm bolts. Basically my badge looks the same as the push button assemblies just without the plug and the badge itself is hard instead of the pushable rubber that I assume the other ones are made out of.

In an ideal world I'd just get a push button badge and wire it in, but my car doesn't have any of the wiring for it.

So I'm assuming the push button was an optional extra on the Eleganza, but wasn't opted for on my car, and instead of replacing the boot fiat just fit what is basically a blanked off version of the push button badge.

My question is can I get one of these badges? Or would anyone happen to know a part number because there is nothing written on it. I can't find anything like this badge anywhere from searching online. If not I'll probably just go for the push button one and not wire it in.

Thanks in advance for any help. (See pictures attached)

Here is a page of part numbers for Grande Puntos manufactured between 2008-2009 (I'm assuming yours is around this age, just prior to the introduction of the Evo):

https://www.fiatdalys.lt/en/catalog/parts/707/15/10/1/4C/0/0/CC1.4/CMBBM/GDX/type-plate-

There are two alternatives for the rear badge ... but I think the number you want is 735578840 (735461033 is the adhesive one).

A quick search using 735578840 came up with this example on eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-...For-Punto-Evo-2009-2012-Multijet/283586410876

The images seem to match the ones you posted.

You may be able to find it cheaper with a bit more searching. In addition to EBay you could try Amazon, Shop4Parts, or even your local Fiat dealer.

The part number for the push button version is 735579354. Here is an example from eBay:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Pun...ck-Push-Button-Genuine-735579354/141564575730

Shame there's no wiring for it ... not having a button on the tailgate exterior is something I really miss.

That's brilliant! Thank you very much, I shall get that ordered. Yeah it is a shame about the wiring, mind you I've gotten used to using the key now but I suppose it'd be nice to have both options. The really annoying thing about the GP for me though is the cup holders, just utterly useless ?, must be designed for small Italian espresso cups or something
