Weapon in straight line??

Cool, my friend has a 2.0 16v nova on carbs...that shifts (y) One of the quickest things ive been in :slayer:

Wouldn't mind getting a bigger nova myself. but maybe a 1.6i to start off with, as i only passed my test about 3 months ago. Mind you i have covered about 7000 miles in it so far with work and pleasure trips etc so getting quite bored of the 1.2.

Its just the way the Engine squirms and moves, its unreal. Must go thru engine mounts like they are going outa fashion. I never thought a dyno session was done like that, a full on blat thru the gears. My dads mini was done progressivly, each gear individually, not goin thru them etc. Wouldnt mind a spin in that golf though. :slayer:

Nope, After preparing the engine by warming up the oil, They take it to the redline in fourth, And it sounds and looks just like the engine is going to wrench from the chassis and be spat out a few miles away! Scary yet cool...
Another thing that is now funny but at the time was a wee bit scary, My coop was on the rollers on a power run, at about 5k revs, bits of grey crap start shooting from around the exhaust, and smoke everywhere.
I crap myself thinking "That's it, the poor old engine has had enough and is in meltdown!" So I shout the tester, who is oblivious, He goes to investigate whilst my bottom lip starts to quiver :(
Turns out the gimp has been using a plastic extraction fan on the exhaust  This has simply melted under the heat and spewed molten plastic all over the workshop, and the boot of my baby
Luckily it removed easy, and I think the guy bought a metal one, I wouldn't know as Im not going back there EVER again :p
