my trusty grande punto 1.2 _199 65 hp from 2007 - is working fine, except when i break or accelerate the is a slushing sound from the passenger side.
perhaps someone out here knows what it could be.

i have checked, there are no whater in the doors.
could it be under the car or something like that ?.

where are the drains located on a punto like mine ?

The mystery was resolved and in this case i would like to describe what happened.

I live in northern Europe, here it is common to get the car sprayed with textrol which prevents rust.
It was only done one time when the previous owner bought the car.

This coating is thick and sticky, this blocked the oblong drain holes running the length of the frame under the car from the start of the front door the the start of the back wheel.
IT has oblong thin drain holes which all got gunked up, allowing rainwater to collect and slushing around.

During the textrol coating process inspection/spray holes are made in the frame to coat the frame bar on the inside, when i removed on of the plugs the frame dumped at least 5 liters of rainwater. in my case only the left side was impacted.

Solution was to clean the small oblong drain holes. (see picture)

red O are the drains, red X are the drilled inspection port with a plug.
