My Punto MK2 has just started having some sort of engine management problem ;)

Thing is I'm like 3 weeks out of the manufactures warreny ;)

But I only bought the car like 4 months ago, so am I covered still by my Fiat Dealership??

Do I still get my 12 months or is that obsolete cause I bought a car that still had manufacturers warrenty left on it?? [xx(]

They only mentioned the manufacturers warrenty, but if I was to buy a car that was over the three years old from the dealership then I would have got 12 months warrenty with it yer??

So does that mean that my manufacturers warranty has run out and the dealshiper one continues until I have owned it twelve months??

I'm gonna go down after work and see [xx(]

When I got my Punto back in 2001, it had 3 months manufacturers warranty. The garage I got it from (non Fiat) had a standard 1 year warranty which started when the original warranty expired. I would expect that the dealer who sold you the car would have said something about a warranty. You need to find out if you brought one (even if it was part of the deal and cost nothing extra), and if you did, you're covered.

My words exactly - if the authorised Fiat warranty has expired, then so be it, irrelevant when the car was purchased.

BUT you should know what you got with the car when you purchased it. Even if no warranty, you may still be covered under the latest Sales of Goods Act.

Well:

That says that you get at least 12 months warrenty on a used car from a fiat dealer!

So maybe I'm covered then!

Ah, never clocked the fact you got it from an authorised dealership - I presumed you got it elsewhere, and just using the main dealer as a place to go.

You def have a case, then!
